The advantages of the ultra clean table are easy and comfortable operation, high work efficiency, short preparation time, and can be operated in more than 10 minutes after turning on, which can be used at any time. In factory production, when the workload of inoculation is large and requires frequent and long-term work, a super clean table is an ideal equipment. The ultra clean bench is powered by a three-phase motor with a power of about 145~260W. The air is blown out through a "super filter" composed of specially made microporous foam plastic sheets laminated together to form a continuous, dust-free and sterile laminar flow of ultra clean air, the so-called "efficient special air", which removes dust, fungi, bacterial spores, etc. larger than 0.3 μ m. The flow rate of ultra clean air is 24-30m/min, which is sufficient to prevent pollution caused by possible air disturbance nearby. Such a flow rate will not hinder the use of alcohol lamps or Bunsen lamps for burning and disinfecting equipment. The staff operates under such sterile conditions to ensure that the sterile materials are not contaminated during the transfer and inoculation process. But if there is a power outage during operation, the materials exposed to unfiltered air will be difficult to avoid pollution. At this point, the work should be quickly completed and a mark should be made on the bottle. If the material inside is in the proliferation stage, it will no longer be used for proliferation and will be transferred to rooting culture in the future. If it is a general production material, it can also be discarded due to its extreme abundance. If it is in the process of rooting, it can be left for future planting. Ultra clean power supplies often use a three-phase four wire system, with one neutral wire connected to the machine casing and securely grounded to the ground wire. The other three wires are all phase wires, and the operating voltage is 380V. There is a certain order in the three wire connection circuit. If the wire end is connected incorrectly, the fan will reverse, and the sound will be normal or slightly abnormal. If there is no wind on the front of the ultra clean table, you can use an alcohol lamp flame to observe the movement. It is not advisable to test for a long time. The power should be cut off in a timely manner. As long as the wire ends of any two phases are swapped and reconnected, the problem can be solved. If only two phases are connected to the three-phase line, or if one phase of the three-phase line has poor contact, the machine sound is very abnormal. The power should be cut off immediately and carefully inspected, otherwise the motor will be burned. These common sense should be explained clearly to the staff at the beginning of using the ultra clean bench to avoid accidents and losses that should not be caused. The air inlet of the ultra clean table is at the bottom of the back or front, and there is a common foam plastic sheet or non-woven fabric in the metal mesh cover to block large particles of dust. It should be checked and disassembled frequently. If the foam plastic is aging, it should be replaced in time. Except for the air inlet, if there are any air leakage holes, they should be sealed tightly, such as by sticking adhesive tape, stuffing cotton, sticking adhesive paper, etc. The metal mesh cover on the front of the workbench is equipped with a super filter, which can also be replaced. If the dust particles become clogged or the wind speed decreases due to long-term use, and sterile operation cannot be guaranteed, a new one can be installed. The service life of a super clean bench is related to the cleanliness of the air. In temperate regions, the ultra clean table can be used in general laboratories. However, in tropical or subtropical regions, due to the high amount of pollen or dust in the atmosphere, the ultra clean table should be placed indoors with good double doors for use. Under no circumstances should the intake hood of the ultra clean table be facing open doors or windows to avoid affecting the service life of the filter. The sterile room should be regularly dusted and disinfected with 70% alcohol or 0.5% phenol spray, wiped with 2% benzalkonium bromide (70% alcohol is also acceptable), regularly fumigated with formalin (40% formaldehyde) plus a small amount of potassium permanganate, and sterilized with ultraviolet sterilization lamp (open for more than 15 minutes each time) to keep the sterile room highly sterile. The inside of the vaccination box should also be equipped with ultraviolet lamps. Before use, the lamps should be turned on for at least 15 minutes to sterilize, but any areas that cannot be irradiated still have bacteria. When the ultraviolet lamp is turned on for a long time, it can stimulate oxygen molecules in the air to form ozone molecules. This gas component has a strong bactericidal effect and can produce a sterilizing effect on corners that are not directly irradiated by ultraviolet light. Due to the harmful effects of ozone on health, the ultraviolet lamp should be turned off before entering the operation. After turning off, it can be entered for more than ten minutes. UV lamps can also be hung on the ultra clean workbench, but they should be installed outside the lighting lampshade and arranged in parallel with the lights staggered, so as not to obstruct the lighting during work. If the ultraviolet lamp is installed inside the lighting lampshade glass plate, it is useless because ultraviolet rays cannot penetrate glass, and its lamp tube is made of quartz glass, not silicate glass. The contact room should strive for simplicity, and any items that are not directly related to the work in the room should not be placed in order to maintain a sterile state. The air inside the vaccination room should be completely isolated from the outside air, and the reserved ventilation ducts should be as sealed as possible. Ventilation ducts can be equipped with upper and lower ventilation windows, with a slightly larger window area that needs to be covered with 4 layers of gauze for simple dust filtration. After a day of work, windows can be opened for sufficient ventilation before being sealed. In short, it is necessary to have clean, dust-free, and sterile air, as well as fresh and suitable for work. The gauze covering the ventilation window should be changed frequently. However, the above measures are only ideal design solutions and are often not easy to fully implement. In fact, as long as strict aseptic operation procedures are followed and there is a super clean table for protection in an open door and window room, the contamination rate of vaccination can still be controlled at a tolerable level in production.
