An air shower pass-through is a chamber installed on cleanroom walls, biological laboratory walls, or other clean equipment. It is primarily used for transferring materials between clean zones, or between clean and non-clean zones, minimizing the frequency of door openings to reduce contamination in the cleanroom to the lowest possible level.
When materials pass through, HEPA-filtered clean airflow quickly and effectively removes dust particles. The airflow is then recirculated into the air shower area after passing through primary and HEPA filters, making ESCO air shower pass-throughs superior to standard pass-throughs. The default air shower time is set at 12 seconds.
