HEPA filters are widely used in cleanroom air conditioning terminal supply outlets across industries such as optics, LCD manufacturing, biopharmaceuticals, precision instruments, food & beverage, and PCB printing. HEPA filter efficiency: 99.99%@0.3um. Both HEPA and ULPA filters serve cleanroom terminals and are classified by structure: partitioned, mini-pleat, high-volume, and ULPA. HEPA filters are key components of air purifiers and find use in many channels, primarily industrial, due to their high cleanliness levels, low resistance, and effective filtration of fine dust. Testing methods include the sodium flame, oil mist, and particle counting methods; the sodium flame method is a current national standard in China, mainly assessing filter sensitivity but not suitable for ULPA filters. In cleanrooms, whether high-volume HEPA filters at the end of purification AC units or those at high-efficiency supply outlets, accurate runtime records, cleanliness, and airflow are essential for replacement decisions. Under normal use, HEPA filter lifespan exceeds one year; with good pre-filtration, it can last over two years, depending on filter quality and possibly longer.
Mini-pleat HEPA filters use waterproof, flame-retardant fiberglass or PP media, fixed to lightweight aluminum extruded frames with amino acetate adhesive. Both inlet and outlet sides can feature sprayed protective mesh to prevent media damage. Their lightweight, compact design allows easy installation in open housings, fan filter units, and clean benches. Frames are made of aluminum alloy, stainless steel, or galvanized steel, sealed with eco-friendly polyurethane adhesive.
